I am a second year fashion marketing student at Leeds Beckett University. On my degree I have completed modules in varying aspects of the fashion industry including trend analysis, contextual studies, fashion branding, and visual communications. Through these subjects I have produced work in a variety of mediums from essays and reports to more visual based work. I am currently studying editorial writing - producing my own magazine, and visual communication – where I am creating visual marketing content for a brand collaboration. I also do marketing modules as part of my degree. After completing these different modules through my degree I have been able to work out that in the future I would like to specialise in fashion writing, styling and elements of visual communication. I am currently looking for a short-term placement opportunity to gain an insight into what it is like working in industry and to build my skillset.
